“Captain of sales,” that’s something that attracts us as sales experts. Couple that with the charity, namely KNRM, and you have an event that is right up our alley. With success, because at the end of the day the counter of our raised amount stood at €6,752.
On Friday, Nov. 17, we competed with 60 other teams to raise as much money as possible. This could be done in two ways: donations from associates and successful completion of assignments. A total of €341,783 was raised by all teams.
There were two assignments where a lot could be earned, a pitch and a media assignment.
Dragons’ Den Pitch
The first larger assignment was a Dragons’ Den Pitch. Each team was given the same assignment:
The KNRM will exist 200 next year. How do we increase brand awareness and attract more structural donors? The budget is €100,000.
Our idea: a KNRM game. Because there is a group of nearly 10 mln gamers with an average age of 33 who are probably not yet familiar with KNRM. When someone plays the game, a game passport is developed in which gaming is translated into soft skills.
In the end, the Dragons thought it was one of the best pitches of the day.
Media assignment
We also got to experience a true rescue, where the task was to make the best possible promo film of this. This was very cool to do and the fun part was that only the best made money. And let that be just ours.
